President's Message
The Baltimore County Chapter of the Continental Societies, Inc. is a proud, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, recognized for charitable work serving children and youth in Baltimore County.
The Baltimore County Chapter, is one of 50 chapters in our organization which has been in existence for nearly 70 years, Chartered on May 23, 2020. We honor and thank our visionary charter members - Past President Latonya Lynn Lawings, Nina Blackmon, and Yvonne Woods Howard - for laying the strong foundation upon which the Baltimore County Chapter continues to thrive today.
Through our programs of Health, Education, Employment, Recreation, plus Arts & Humanities, we are dedicated to making an impact in Baltimore County by helping children and youth reach their optimal potential.
The needs gap for under-resourced children in their communities still exits. We will take that as an opportunity to serve even more children in Baltimore County. To date, The Baltimore County Chapter of the Continental Societies, Inc. has supported communities through sponsoring and supporting coat drives, back-to-school supplies, food donations, book giveaways, school recreation equipment donations, personal care items and supplementing school wish list requests, as well as providing and participating in informational community building events.
The Baltimore County Chapter has grown into a beautiful sisterhood of like-minded women who are united by a shared mission—to uplift and empower children and youth in their communities.
Our national theme couldn’t have been worded any better- “Our Children, Our Commitment, Our Concern”.
